Maps are the levels in which you play Subspace/Continuum. Maps are stored in files ending with the .lvl extension. They are encoded using either the LVL Format or ELVL Format.

Maps are made up of tiles from a tileset. The only size for a map is 1024x1024 tiles. Maps saved as ELVL's can contain attributes such as the name of the map's author or ASSS Regions.
