SubSpace Map Editor

Created by Larry Cornder, SSME has been the most popular map editor since VIE days. There have been two releases of SSME, 0.071a and 0.081a. Both releases are good in their own repects, as the changes between the two are different enough that each version has its advantages over the other. SSME saves Continuum or Subspace Maps using the LVL Format. If you open an ELVL file in SSME, and save it, any ELVL data, such as author or region information will be lost.
