SVS, or standard VIE settings are the original settings that came with SubSpace. These settings are often believed to be the most balanced, and hardest to master. They also work well for slower connections, leading to SubSpace's ability to be playable even by dial up modem users. In your ASSS settings, you can dump the SVS settings in using:
